YONGNUO IS MAKING A POWERFUL STATEMENT WITH THEIR LED STICK LIGHTS!
Yongnuo has undoubtedly earned for themselves the title of ‘giant players’ in the lighting industry world wide with their various innovative contributions. Just like other notable lighting brands, Yongnuo has produced countless LED fixtures for filmmakers and even photographers. Some of these LED lighting fixtures includes YN300II, YN300, YN900, YN160, YN216, YN360, etc. For the purpose of this post, we would be looking at their various LED hand-held stick lights (.i.e the YN360 series). Stick lights produced by the company are categorized into various groups according to their size, color temperature and even output. Some of their various categories are as follows:
(I) The YN360
It is a 22.95 x 1.88″ light fixture with a slim profile of just 0.94″. The unique Wand has two variable color modes. Color Temperature Mode allows you to vary the Kelvin temperature from 3200 to 5500K. RGB Mode yields vivid Reds, Greens, and Blues and combinations of those colors. Meant to be handheld, the Wand has control buttons on the handle to control the color output. Color can also be controlled wirelessly by a smartphone app.

Camera Video Light is one of a series of on-camera LED lights from Yongnuo Digital. This compact unit features two output modes. The first mode provides 5500K output and offers two dimming modes (rough and fine). The second mode allows you to control the 40 RGB LEDs, adjusting the balance of the red, blue, and green LEDs.
(III)The YN360Mini RGB Ice Light from Yongnuo
This a 14″ fixture with a slim 3″ profile. The unique wand has two variable color modes. Color temperature mode allows you to vary the Kelvin temperature from 2700 to 7500K. RGB mode yields vivid reds, greens, blues, and combinations of those colors. Meant to be handheld, the wand has buttons on the handle to control the color output. Color can also be controlled wirelessly by a smartphone app or an optional remote at distances up to 49′. The YN360Mini has an internal battery that will give you 1.6 hours of runtime at full power and much longer at partial power.
(IV) Yongnuo YN360S
It is a light, mobile lamp in the shape of an elongated panel designed to create creative lighting and light painting. The light panel of the YN360 II lamp consists of 148 efficient LEDs, 74 of which emit light with a color temperature of 3200 K, and 74 with a temperature of 5500 K. The lamp offers the functionality of changing the intensity of light emitted by individual groups of LEDs. This enables smooth regulation of the bar light temperature in the range from 3200 K to 5500 K. The generated light is soft and enveloping, and its natural, eye-pleasing color is confirmed by the CRI value exceeding 95. The lamp is operated using 5 function buttons and a switch. The introduced changes can be read from a clear display located above the switch.
(V) The YN360 II LED Light Wand from Yongnuo
The light will help you create a distinct look as well as operate in tight spaces with relative ease. This model offers a unique ability to switch between either 320 variable color temperature LEDs or 40 RGB SMD LEDs, enabling either a white light mode capable of being set from 3200-5500K or a Full Color RGB mode that can be configured via a mobile app. The light also has an integrated lithium-ion battery with a high capacity of 5200mAh for keeping the light powered for hours.
(VI) The YN360 III Bi-Color RGB LED Light Wan
This light has a 23” design which will help you create a distinct look and let you operate in tight spaces with ease. This model offers the unique ability to switch between either 360 variable color temperature LEDs or 60 RGB SMD LEDs, enabling either a white light mode capable of being set from 3200-5500K or a Full Color RGB mode that can be adjusted to access literally millions of colors. You can also make light adjustments from distances up to 49′ with the included wireless remote. Another option is the ability to change the beam angle from a wide 110 degrees to a narrower 55 degrees. The YN360 III runs on an AC adapter or an NP-F battery. Both are purchased separately.
