Nkwocha Chinemerem Precious-Flora widely known as ‘The Nigerian Female Gaffer’, is a dynamic lighting designer, gaffer, and filmmaker whose artistry shapes the visual language of film and television across Nigeria. She is the founder and lead creative at En-touche Lighting House, a full-service lighting company offering design, consultancy, and crew support for film, TV, documentaries, music videos, and stage productions.
Chinemerem began her professional journey in Lagos in 2017, interning under renowned lighting director Matthew Yusuf. She went on to sharpen her craft through collaborations with industry giant Clarence Peters, contributing to over 40 music videos that have shaped the modern Nigerian visual scene. Her film and television portfolio now includes acclaimed titles such as MGBUKA, IWE, Peaceville, Oblation, UNO, and the newly released TV show JAPADA.
Beyond production, Chinemerem is passionate about education and mentorship, using her YouTube platform and specialized training programs to guide young and aspiring gaffers. Through her company and her voice, she continues to redefine lighting in the African film industry championing excellence, innovation, and the visibility of women in technical filmmaking roles.

UNO is a film directed by Ebuka Njoku which sets out to give us a snapshot of a family with all its heartaches, wranglings, and messiness served up with the occasional dash of humour.

Lighting Designer - May 2021
The film titled “BOUND LOST IN THE MOMENT” is the first Nigerian short film bothering on personality disorder. Shot and directed by Prince Egwuonwu.
Head Gaffer - July 2022
This is a short film by NAPTIP in collaboration with UNHCR as a part of their effort to create awareness on human trafficking. The film was directed by Uyoyou Adia and shot in Cross River, Nigeria.
